Haere Mai — Welcome.

This is the place to Eat New Zealand.

We are a not-for-profit New Zealand food movement dedicated to connecting people to our land and our ocean through our food. We acknowledge that to be able to do this we need a thriving food system that feeds us all and welcomes our visitors now and into the future.

This is the place to celebrate the people and businesses that are genuinely telling our food story and are committed to building more resilient food communities.

Therefore this website allows you to build a food itinerary of our very best establishments, events, markets and producers throughout Aotearoa (New Zealand).

We believe our home grown food is world class. The quality of our produce, the skill, creativity and passion of our people, and our spirit of respect and openness means the food we create is of the highest global standard. We're closer to the source. Pull up a seat at our table!
