Tasse Cafe

Tasse Café opened in December 2014 and has been bringing stylish vintage High Teas to Mornington since. “Everyone loves the experience, ritual and feeling of being treated that you get when you have high tea. No matter how old you are, you always enjoy a tea party,” says owner, Rebecca. Rebecca notes Tasse Café is decked out in many of the same items she recalls from her afternoon teas with her grandmother. Her daughter Isobel (who is also really good at baking) helps out at the café as well. It might be a lot of work, but they enjoy the fact that they are sharing their love of High Tea with Dunedin. And the family ritual of afternoon teas continues…
