While it’s only November, we’re already thinking about next year. We have some really exciting projects lined up, and are looking for partners. If you have some environmental, social and cultural goals you’re hoping to achieve alongside your economic ones in 2024, come at us.

We have extensive reach and profile in New Zealand food, great project delivery history and a genuine movement of people who are defining Aotearoa’s food story. If you’d like to learn more about the projects, let us know and we can send you more information.

In the meantime, back to this year and some wonderful upcoming events… Angela Clifford, CE Eat New Zealand. @eat.newzealand

Help Satisfy Food Rescue Grow

Satisfy Food Rescue, based in Kaiapoi, North Canterbury need your help to raise 20k in 12 days so they can break ground on a permanent home and keep filling hungry tummies while saving the planet!

They redirect quality surplus or unsellable food (that was destined for landfill or animal feed) to over forty community organisations including food banks, community meal providers and schools in the Canterbury region.

You can support by donating whatever you can to help them build a purpose-built facility - so they can continue their wonderful mahi of feeding communities while helping reducing food waste.

Head to their Give a Little page for more details and to support here.

Meet our #EatNZKaitaki over on IG

Over the last few weeks we've been sharing Intro Reels across the Eat New Zealand Instagram from our new Kaitaki cohort for 2023 / 2024. It's been a beautiful way to hear from each of them about why they do what they do and what inspires them to keep working towards a better kai future for Aotearoa.

We've been so inspired by their stories and their videos and if you need a bit of hope amidst what is a tough time for many in food...we highly recommend heading over and watching them.

You'll find them dotted across our feed over on @eat.newzealand

Stay tuned for highlights from our next Kaitaki Assignment.

Take me to the Eat NZ Kaitaki Intro Reels!

We'd like to acknowledge the generous and ongoing support of our sponsors and partners including the Ministry of Business, Innovation and Employment, Our Land and Water & Foundation for Arable Research.
