Seumus' Irish Bar

Owned by both an Irish and Kiwi couple, Seumus' Irish Bar is a fantastic mix of all things Irish, with a kiwi touch. The only Irish Bar in town and pouring the best pint of Guinness in Marlborough, the pub was designed to have the same atmosphere as a traditional pub in Ireland. Wood is everywhere – in the custom-made booths, tables, chairs and stools – and the decor relies more on old photographs that have special meaning than on bright flags and bright green memorabilia. Although the interior, with its cosy low ceiling, has been artificially aged, it doesn't take away from the charm or comfort of the place. Seumus' splits into three rooms, the main bar and rooms to both the left and right – the left typically the restaurant and right hand room is where musicians can be found on most nights of the week in Summer and frequently in the Winter months.
