Peihana Farm offers social learning events to those wanting to share and learn practical skills on how to live off the land in a sustainable manner.
Topics include propating and growing fruit, vegetables, herbs; homekill and butchery; preserving and cooking food; cheesemaking; breadmaking; medicinal herbs for better health; building structures out of natural materials (earth oven, weaving kono etc); soil management and more.
Our workshops are tailored to small groups of up to 12pax and are suited to locals and tourists looking for little bit of country magic and a day at our peaceful retreat … learning, sharing, laughing and eating.
