Ascension is a beautiful vineyard in Matakana, just 40 minutes north of Auckland. With our own rustic cellar door and restaurant, we are the perfect location for wine tasting, lunch and dinner. We also host stunning weddings and stylish corporate events in the Belfry our fully self contained function center. Ascension prides itself on providing outstanding service, food and wine to our guests in the old European style. From the moment you arrive you will feel as if you have been transported to rural Tuscany. Try our delicious pastas and risottos or improve your wine knowledge with our trained cellar door staff.
