It's been an amazing year since we launched our very first Eat New Zealand Kaitaki. We've been blown away by the power in bringing together this group of 30 individuals, from Northland to Rakiura and all across Aotearoa.

Among the collective we had: farmers, fishers, divers, food technologists, dieticians, gardeners, food experience providers, chefs, photographers, iwi leaders, illustrators, writers, journalists, wine makers, coffee roasters, business owners, food growers, compost enthusiasts and many more. Over the last year we've collected and amplified their stories through our Eat New Zealand platforms....and now it's time to hunt out our next cohort!

Let the Eat New Zealand Kaitaki Hunt begin!

We are looking for young people with a passion for unearthing and telling our New Zealand food stories and who are up for the challenge of creating engaging content and sharing it across a variety of mediums. It's an opportunity to be part of a powerful community of next generation influencers who are working towards a better food future in Aotearoa.

We welcome representatives from all aspects of the food system across New Zealand.

You could be from any cultural background, you just need to have a genuine connection to Aotearoa.

This Eat New Zealand Kaitaki Collective will be gathered from across the regions and will spend the next 12 months telling their stories of New Zealand food. Their stories will be shared across various Eat New Zealand platforms including the Eat New Zealand Website, Instagram, Facebook, Vimeo, Podcasts using compelling words, social media content, video, recipes, photography, visual imagery and more.

This is an incredible and unique opportunity to engage and connect with a collective of passionate young people, to further grow yourself and/or your business, to help establish your personal brand, to gain access to the Eat New Zealand community and to be given a nationwide platform upon which to create personalised content shared to a nationwide audience.

Once again we are throwing the net to see which of our awesome young people will join our Eat New Zealand Kaitaki Collective for 2021.

APPLY NOW.

APPLICATIONS CLOSE on Friday 6th August at 5pm.
