On the 26th of July Hangi Master Rewi Spraggon and Cazador chef Dariush Lolaiy will team up with the Smoko Room chef Will Michell in Matakana for Tunu Tahi.
Tunu Tahi, “cook together” is a winter celebration of our earth and the fire we use to cook and share kai. Together these chefs will prepare 5 courses, three from our hangi.
They cook together. We all eat together.
The event starts from 4pm with a canape. Join the chefs in the courtyard at the Smoko Room while they’re cooking on the hangi.
Each chef will prepare one course from the hangi.
Tickets for this 5 course dinner are $70.
A beer matched to each course is also available for $20.
