At Tora Collective, we catch kaimoana from our home in Tora Bay and deliver it directly to local Wairarapa and Wellington eateries who share our kaupapa on igniting the true taste of Aotearoa in their dishes.
Our passion lies in bringing a Kiwi authenticity to New Zealand cuisine by personally catching and delivering live Crayfish, Paua and Seaweed straight from our backyard to your kitchen.
Because our produce comes directly to you straight from the ocean, all of our fish are minimally handled, transported once and never set foot in a factory or tank; making them some pretty ‘zen’ fish.
We want to ensure that there’s fish for our tamarikis’ future, which is why we are committed to fishing sustainably and getting our fish to you in the most low impact way possible.
Our fish are delivered by us in our fish bins with frozen beach casted seaweed and 100% pure, un-bagged and un-bleached woo. No plastics, gels or plastic lined cardboard to feel guilty about. We leave you with your fish only, taking everything with us where we put it on our garden (or yours).
Aotearoa’s greatest treasures are found in our oceans and we want Kiwi’s and our visitors to have the opportunity to taste the best of what our coastline has to offer.
