Prepare to have your socks knocked off by this trio of big hitters – the Gimblett Gravels Wine Growing District, Bareknuckle BBQ and Waipawa Butchery. Enjoy five killer courses of smoked, grilled and braised Waipawa Butchery angus beef and lamb matched with the big reds from the Gimblett Gravels Wine Growing District, while having a yarn with the winemakers circulating around the tables, the farmer and the chef. You’ll be seated in tables of 10 guests with a winemaker joining you from time to time.
There’s also a welcome drink on arrival, and cheese and chocolate to finish. It's winter so please bring a coat to enjoy the outdoor area too. Tables 10 and 11 are outside under pop-up marquees, so we recommend these people dress warmly.
Ticket price includes - welcome drink of bubbles or beer on arrival, five meat courses served on shared platters to each table of 10, enjoyed with Gimblett Gravels red wines, with a winemaker discussing the Gimblett Gravels red wine and food match, cheese and chocolate to finish.
