This June 24th co-founder and chef Carlo Buenaventura will take this chance to continue showcasing more of what it’s like to be a Filipino cooking in New Zealand. Using his cultural background, food memories and his recent exploration of the Negros region in the Philippines, Carlo together with the team at Shepherd will curate a menu that takes influence from "Negrense" cuisine while mixing in more contemporary inspiration from New Zealand's seasons and surroundings.
Carlo will bring his fresh take on the Filipino style of dining. The dinner will be a 3 course sharing menu containing snacks & dishes best enjoyed by a group of four or more.
Richard Klein of Artigiano Imports is a true Wellingtonian and a friend to both Carlo and Shepherd. He will be pouring three wine matches to compliment each course - think biodynamic, eco farming principles and low intervention.
